SURPRISE
I am not surprised
When I see a beautiful girl,
Wearing pretty clothes,
Too young,
Her blue eyes full of tears.
I don’t really wonder
To see people are suffering,
In what we call the New Life,
The new, modern world.
But when I see a preacher
Talking about God’s Love
While playing a dirty game,
Day and night,
To prove to us
That what the politicians are doing
Is all right.
That for me is the real shock,
And for my heart,
The worst attack.
