FOUR
Adam was in paradise,
Garden, river and palace.
Food, drink, everywhere was beauty.
Still he was unhappy,
No fun, no peace in his mind.
He needed something,
Something he must find.
God knew better,
Created beautiful Eve,
To build their Life together.
This is Nature -
Man and Woman need each other.
Now that is over,
Something is wrong
With Adam’s children.
We destroyed our Nature.
Men run away from women.
Women, they are tired
Of hearing lies and seeing tricks,
They prefer to stay alone.
In some relations there is
Nice talking,
Meaningless love,
Friendship or desire,
Not partnership to build Life.
Even husbands and wives
Have their own separate lives!
Once in a while secret meetings,
In clear violation
Of the Order of Protection!
This is the Modern Family!
Many in the West
Can’t deal with even one woman,
But my Shekh keeps telling me
‘Don’t be scared, get some more!
It is fine, even better,
To marry four!’
